This client came to me with an obvious goal of improving her site that felt like it hadn't been changed in a few decades! We updated her brand logo, fonts, and colors a bit to modernize it, then followed similar design styling for the site. This site was particularly easy to work on because of how great the photography shots that were provided, which caused the only small thing I would change which would be better image optimization. The images are so high res that I should have spent the time to down res all of them, and now I am appreciating Next.js' image optimization features that are automatically performed via SSR. I love how the hero section turned out with the stairs and centered navbar. The projects page with the borders zigzagging down the page was simple but felt fitting for her sharp modern designs of her homes. This was one of my first experiences building a site from the ground up with SASS and I loved using it! The backend was simply a contact messaging input that would shoot out an email to her via SendGrid.

I still manage her domain and company emails and am troubleshooting minor issues or making minor adjustments here and there.
