San Jose State University is centered in the heart of Silicon Valley in downtown San Jose, which allowed me to be fully emersed in the business and technology community. While attending, I earned my computer engineering major with business & math minors, giving me the confidence and certification to work professionally as an engineer to solve problems worldwide. From the technical courses I took in my higher-level courses, I learned how computers are structured and abstracted at all levels of the stack, from machine code to web coding. I learned where I wanted to work on that stack, which I have currently landed at around the top, with web-based coding languages because I love to quickly see everyday consumers using my products. I was also an active member of the Computer & Software Engineering Society (SCE) and Pi Kappa Alpha fraternity. Go Spartans!
